More pictures of the Log Cabin and Guest House!

Secluded, yet just 7 miles from the little town of San Luis in the southern part of Colorado. These pictures do not do justice to the beauty and gorgeous expanse of views on the Mesa! The clean, clear, crisp air and
breathtaking scenery has to be experienced!

The Lot 7 to the west is where I am clearing the sage now. The post on the left is the farthest west corner of all the lots, this is on Overland Way. The lots are all 550' deep and extend clear back to the survey road at the back of the lots. All open ranch land behind these lots!

These pictures show the white 250 gal. water tank that I use to bring
the water to the house. The truck is backed up to the tank and the tank slid
onto the truck. It is 1-1/2 miles down to the well house where water is pumped
into the tank. It is then brought back and gravity-fed with a 2" hose through
a 3" PVC pipe in the east side of the house, into the 1200 gal. cistern in the
back room of the house. The water is then used in the house by a 12-volt
water pump and pressure tank. Water comes out the faucets in kitchen and bathroom, as well as the toilet, just as in any other house, you turn on the faucet and water comes out.
For those who don't want to haul the water themselves, there are people on the Mesa who deliver water very reasonably.
